Two matches last week in Division 1. In the first White Knights C ended their short run of losses by beating Port Talbot 3½-1½ and move above them in the table. In the second match Morriston B found a bit of form to defeat a struggling Brunel ½-3½. However, attention will now be focused on the Morriston A v Nidum match scheduled for Monday 30th March. Morriston need to win this match to keep their title hopes alive.

In was a busier week in Division 2 with 5 matches played. In their first encounter of the season Morriston D unexpectedly triumphed over BF Giants 3½-1½, a win that takes them above White Knights E in the table. Three of the next four encounters featured Upper Killay teams in what was a bad week for them. UK Merlins lost 4-1 away to a White Knights D team who have not lost a match since the beginning of December. White Knights D now look more than likely to finish in the top three and one wonders what might have been if a few earlier matches had gone their way. The two other Upper Killay matches saw Hawks lose 0-5 at home to Morriston C and their second team Harriers lost 1½-3½ at home to CN Tribunes. The win for Morriston C moves them into top spot 1 point ahead of Woodman A. The final match of the week was between White Knights E and Woodman B and was a win for Woodman B. It moves them into third from bottom just above Harriers.
