The League's annual rapidplay tournament in memory of A.O. Jones is being held on Saturday 23rd April.

The competition consists of 5 rounds and in each round participants are required to make all their moves in 30 minutes. Last year's winner was Alan Young a member of the White Knights Chess Club.

It is being held at the Briton Ferry Constitutional Club & Institute Ltd., Graig House, Graig Road, Briton Ferry SA11 2YY and the start time is 10:30 am. It is likely to end around 6 pm.

There is a £5 entry fee that is put into a prize fund.
