A quick win for Hywel. Damon did not castle and his King was open to a violent attack. Peter scored one for the oldies but Anthony found a fork to help Emperors to a healthy lead. My game resolved into a Bishop v. Knight endgame but, though I had the Bishop, I was two pawns down. In a hard-fought endgame Bob could not find a win. Steve was last to finish, making his very slight advantage of 2B v. B + N count.
