We start the New Year with the expected news that Glyn has updated the Grading Site for the West Wales Chess League ( http://www.nidumchessclub.co.uk/grading/ ) to show the January 2018 grades. This list, sorted by club, can also be downloaded from this site at ( http://wwcl.leaguerepublic.com/l/documents.html ).

This list does not determine whether a player is eligible to play in the restricted sections of the KO cup nor does it affect the lists of nominated players. The July 2017 grading list covers these situations. For League purposes the January 2018 list is used solely to determine board order as laid down in League Rule 3.7
