With the West Wales Week-end Congress starting on Friday 17th November there was a limited League program in the run up.

First up in Division 1 should have been the match between White Knights C and Morriston A with the Morriston team needing a win to avoid losing sight of White Knights A. Unfortunately, for reasons that can only be put down to a lack of organization, the Morriston team failed to show and White Knights C won the match by default. In addition the five default games put Morriston A into default territory and they were hit with a one point penalty. This puts them seven points behind White Knights A and in among the also rans.

Next in Division 1 was the inter-club match between BF All Blacks and BF Nidum. Not surprisingly this went the way of all previous All Black matches with Nidum winning 4-1. The All Blacks remain the only team in all three divisions still to get off the mark and it will need some sort of miraculous turnaround if they are to avoid relegation.

University A entertained White Knights B in a match rearranged from September. With one win each and draws on the remaining three boards the teams shared the match points; a result that keeps the University in touch with the middle order as they currently have matches in hand.

In Division 2 the University fielded their B team on the same night as their first. It was against White Knights D and the match ended with the same result reached in their first team’s encounter. One win each and draws on the remaining boards. The points gained keep White Knights D in third place and the University sixth. The University, however, have three matches in hand.

There were no Division 3 matches.
