Morriston B put up stern resistance against Morriston A with Adrian Davies agreeing a draw against Ian Jones when Adrian was better. Peter Bevan sacrificed a Queen on Board 1 and won a piece. On Board 3 Richard Cleveland defeated Paul Scott and Fei Gao ground out a win in a rook ending. However the big shock was on Board 4 where Alan Williams beat Chris Howells after Chris had a winning position.
