In Division 1 Nidum recovered from their 4-1 defeat at the hands of White Knights A by travelling to Tonna and defeating Castell-Nedd Emperors by the same score. Draws on top and bottom boards gave Emperors some consolation. The result extends Nidum’s lead at the top to 3 points although White Knights A now have two matches in hand. The only other Division 1 match saw Morriston B do something that their A team compatriots have, so far, failed to do. Namely defeating White Knights B. At 3-2 the result was close and can perhaps be explained by the fact that the Knights were nowhere near their full strength and were missing all of their nominated players.

There was just the one match in Division 2 and it saw the University extend their winning streak to 5, this time at the expense of Morriston C who went down by an uncompromising 4-1. Moving the University off the top spot now looks like a real challenge for the rest of the Division.

Surprise of the week came out of Division 3 when De la Beche B visited Upper Killay. With just 1 win to their name they nevertheless managed to whitewash UK Harriers and gain revenge for their previous meeting when Harriers won 3-2. Finally, the last match of the week was yet another defeat for UK Hawks. This time at the hands of the youngsters from Morriston. The 3-2 win for Morriston E takes them into top spot a point clear of Castell-Nedd Tribunes and two points clear of their own D team.
