Louis Bathein was introduced to Paul Bevan's individual way of playing with an attack on both flanks where Paul left his K in the open uncastled. Eventually Paul's Q, which of course, led the attack, got stuck and his game collapsed. Daniel Jenkins dominated the board in his game and pressure told. Board 3 was evenly fought until the middle stages of the match where experience eventually told. Better resilience in the endgame gave Byron the edge on Board 4.
