Update on Rd 5.

The final round was held at the White Knights Chess Club on Wednesday 31st May 2023.

After 5 rounds Moss McCarthy has emerged as a clear winner after defeating his nearest rival, Mark Thomas in a sharp kings Indian. Adam Musson secured second place with a win against Adam May.

There were two drawn games on the night, making a total of only 4 games drawn in the whole event so far.

With all games played the Grading Prizes have been awarded as follows:

U1800 - Andrew Smith 3

U1600 - Malcom Probert & Matthew Billington on 2.5

U1400 - Vismith Prabhu & Mckenzie Archibald on 2.5

U1200 - James Evans on 2.5

Unfortunately this wesite does not accept files in pgn ot txt format so they have been uploaded as a Microsoft Word file. This can be converted into a text file in word and then into a pgn file by changing the file extension. The pgn file can then be loaded into a chess program.
