Congratulations to Morriston A who have won division 1 with one match still to play. Morriston have dropped 1 match point so will win the title as long as they turn up for the last game v Briton Ferry! Adam and Ian drew in a Caro Kann before the first time control. David Guy was material down v Chris Howells and went down in the end. Richard Cleveland turned a draw down v Keith in a level ending and secured another win. Peter was a little worse v me and dropped a couple of pawns with a blunder. In the ensuing ending he should have drawn, but I eventually won a pawn ending. Alan had sacrificed a pawn v Carl and the game was quite complicated. Carl was an exchange down for a couple of pawns, one of which was on the 7th rank. Carl won in the end as the pawns tied Alan's pieces up.
