4-1 to the A team may seem routine, but it certainly wasn't! All games went past the first time control with 4 getting into endings. Jason looked to be winning v Keith but Keith fought back and the players agreed a draw in a rook and pawn ending. David Guy v Alan went down to rook, minor piece and 3 pawns each, another draw. At this point my game v Huw was level and Adam had turned down a couple of draws, but was now 2 pawns down. Gerry was by now beating David Buttell. Malcolm blundered by touching a piece and resigned immediately. I eventually overcame Huw in a good knight v bad bishop endgame.
