As usual the selection for the B & C team match was split to create competitive games. The match started with a no show on board 3 for the B team and an early win for Tony against Guto on board 4, with David Buttell and Mike Richards better and board 2 level it looked like one way traffic. David Guy produced an ingenious combination to stun David Buttell, Mike Richards went astray and both players bailed out for the draw on 5. Tthis left Keith with a cast iron endgame win.... which he missed. Aa draw was agreed with Knight and 2 (g&h) v Knights and 1 (h).
