White Knights A suffered a slight setback when they journeyed to Neath and came up against Nidum's strongest possible B team. A 2.5-2.5 score line and a point dropped in the fight for the league title. However, they are still 5 points ahead although Nidum A have two matches in hand. In the other match played in Division 1 Port Talbot were lost before they started. Turning up 3 players short they went down 4.5-0.5 to White Knights B and, in addition, collected two more penalty points.

In Division 2, BF Brunel's promotion hopes were given a bit of a dent when they lost 3-2 away to Morriston B. Emperors remain a point ahead with a game in hand so this week's match between the two top teams could be critical. In contrast Briton Ferry's second team, the Giants, currently lying second from bottom, took on third placed White Knights D and had a 3.5-1.5 win. White Knights D, however, remain third. The third match played in this Division resulted in a 2.5-2.5 draw between Woodman A and UK Merlins.

BF Ferrymen defeated Morriston D and leapfrogged them back into second place in Division 3. In the middle of the table UK Harriers beat White Knights E 3-2, while UK Hawks and CN Tribunes shared the points.

Hawks and Tribunes were due to meet in the Under 1500 KO cup but decided that they would avoid the extra match by extracting 4 boards of the League match instead. The four that they choose resulted in a 2.5-1.5 win for the Hawks who now proceed to the semi-final where they will meet BF Ferrymen.
