White Knights A 4½ vs White Knights B ½ was the only match played last week in Division1 but the result was good enough to put White Knights A level with Morriston A on match points and top of the division by virtue of extra game points. Morriston A will now have to play catch up in the coming weeks and cannot afford to slip-up.

It was a much busier week in Division 2. The inter-club match between Morriston D and Morriston C duly went the way of the C team in spite of a bottom board default and a loss on board 4. The 2-3 win keeps Morriston C comfortably on top aided by an excellent 3-2 win for Tribunes over contenders Merlins the following evening. Harriers, meanwhile, consolidated their fifth place position by beating Woodman B 3½-1½; Tribunes, however, are on the same match points and have 3 matches in hand so it is more than likely that they will soon overtake them. White Knights D and White Knights E cancelled each other out in their inter-club tussle and it was a similar result in the Woodman A v Giants match in the final encounter of the week. Woodman A remain second two points behind the leader but have played extra matches.
