William Flew
It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Bill Flew on Tuesday 4th December. Bill was a regular player in Upper Killay, initially as captain of the second team before becoming the first team captain. He was playing as recently as two weeks ago, when he won his game, and his death has come as a shock.
Bill started playing in the league for Pennard in the 1970's , before moving away to the Midlands He returned to West Wales in the 2000's and at many of the League’s Annual General Meetings he often reminded us about the fixture arrangements in the midlands.
He was a very friendly person and liked it when his opponent played P-Q4 .
We shall miss him .
