A relatively quiet week in Division 1 saw the two matches that were played go the way of the favourites. In the rearranged match between Morriston B and Nidum where Morriston B were the home team but the venue was Nidum's the "away" team had a comfortable 1-4 win with draws on boards 2 and 5 providing only a little consolation for Morriston. Port Talbot travelled to Llanelli to meet top of the Division White Knights A and suffered the same fate as Morriston. 4-1 and once again only two draws, this time on boards 1 and 3, provided just a little consolation. Port Talbot turned up a player short for this encounter and their 4 accumulated defaults now earns them a penalty point deduction that moves them into bottom spot in the Division.

It was a much busier week for Division 2 with only Morriston D not playing. It started with a top of the table clash between Morriston C and Woodman A in a match that saw Morriston finally run out of luck. After a string of narrow victories it was inevitable that they would eventually come unstuck and the 2-3 victory to Woodman resulted in Morriston C's first loss of the season. It also means that Woodman A have not lost a match since the middle of November and the result takes them to the top of the Division - albeit having played 3 more matches than their nearest rivals.

In the other matches White Knights D comfortably defeated BF Giants 3½-1½ while UK Merlins kept their title challenge in place by defeating Woodman B 4-1. UK Hawks lost 1½-3½ to CN Tribunes with Hawks only full point coming courtesy of a Tribunes default. In the final match of the week White Knights E gained their first win since the beginning of December and made it look easy with a 4½-½ victory over UK Harriers.
