The AO Jones rapidplay took place on Saturday 10th June at Llanelli. Unfortunately, there were only 6 entries, myself (Bill Hewitt), Alan Young, David Guy, Chris Price, Huw Jones & Eleanor Collins so it was an all play all.

The decision to invite former winners met with success. Chris Price (1981 winner) played after a 10 year gap and looks like he'll be returning to active play with De La Beche next season. Pete Heaven (1978 winner) would have played, but pulled out the night before, full of cold. John Waters (1979 winner) is in Spain, due to return next week, he would have played had he been here. Another former player Chris D Jenkins (University / Builders) only heard about the event on the Friday, already had another commitment. Maybe we should open the event to all former WWCL members?!

Alan Young won on 4/5, David Guy was 2nd on 3.5/5. Thanks again to Ian Eustis for arbitrating.
