West Wales Closed Championship (E.J. Clarke Trophy) The fourth round draw has been published and is given below. The games are scheduled for Thursday 12th April at Briton Ferry Chess Club, Briton Ferry Constitutional Club, Graig Road, Briton Ferry, SA11 2YY. The start time is 7:30 pm.

The competition is being organised by June Evans and controlled by Ian Eustis.

The games involving Joel and Daniel Chung are to be rearranged as they are on holiday.

League Competition

The only action in the League was in Division 3 when UK Hawks played rearranged matches between Morriston F and De la Beche B. They lost the first by 2 points to 3 and the second by 1 point to 4.

With just three weeks to go before the end of the League Competition there are still 28 matches to be played so it is going to be a hectic finish. The only title still to be decided is the battle between CN Emperors and Morriston B for the Stan Cole Trophy in Division 2; Morriston are 3 points ahead but Emperors have a match in hand.
