A quiet week

A half-term lull saw Division 1 take the week off and what little action there was took place in Divisions 2 & 3.

In Division 2 Morriston B away to Woodman B at Blackpill had a comfortable 5-0 win that took them into second place in the Division behind BF Brunel. At the end of the week promotion chasing Brunel cemented their position at the top with a 4-1 win at home to White Knights D. Waiting in the wings, however, are the Emperors with 3 matches in hand over Brunel and the possibility of overtaking them should they win every match. Morriston B and Emperors have still to play each other twice so Brunel are probably hoping that they will split the points and give them a less stressful run in.

Upper Killay turned out a player short in both their teams when Harriers hosted Morriston D and bottom of the table Eagles travelled to Briton Ferry to play second placed Ferrymen. Four players were all each team needed, however, as Harriers defeated Morriston 4-1 and Ferrymen went down 2-3. Ferrymen's chances of catching leaders Morriston C now look forlorn although still arithmetically possible.
