Returning from their hard fought battles in Spain White Knights A re-entered the League competition with a match against their B team. Resting three of their top players the moderately under strength team nevertheless overwhelmed a weak B team 5-0 and move into first position in the division. The more significant match, however, was that between Nidum and Morriston A. A strengthened Morriston must now be thinking of themselves as title contenders and this match was crucial to both teams. In the event Morriston won 3.5-1.5 to leave Nidum pointless two matches into the season. When was the last time, if ever, that happened? Morriston A now sit just behind White Knights A by virtue of a lower game point score.

It was a busy week in Division 2 with 4 matches played. Morriston C travelled to Woodman B's excellent new venue in De-la-Beche park and left 5-0 winners, while two days later their club mates Morriston D travelled to Upper Killay and came away 4-1 winners against the Harriers. It was not a good week for the Upper Killay teams as the following night Hawks took on the Giants at Briton Ferry and lost 5-0. In the fourth match played Woodman A drafted in a couple of their B team stalwarts and travelled to Llanelli to take on White Knights E where they achieved a comfortable 4-1 victory, helped in part by a White Knights default. Woodman A are now sitting pretty at the top of Division 2 with 7 points from 8 leaving Morriston C and UK Merlins, neither of whom play this week, to play catch up if you can.
