Four matches in Division 1 last week. On the Monday Nidum travelled to Morriston where they took 4½ points from Morriston C while the following night BF Brunel faced a strong White Knights B team and lost 1½-3½. On the Wednesday Morriston A were without two of their regulars and struggled while away to White Knights C. A close run match with a relieved Morriston team just managing to win 2-3. Finally only a draw between Clive Gosling and Huw Jones stopped White Knights A taking all the points in their match with De la Beche A. As expected the title race is now clearly between Morriston A, Nidum and White Knights A and the situation may only become clearer when the matches between them are played - the first is Nidum v Morriston A on the 10th Nov.

Five matches in Division 2 with White Knights E and Morriston E having the week off. Morriston D managed to notch up their first win of the season with 3½-1½ victory over bottom of the table UK Hawks and the following evening White Knights D got back into winning ways with a resounding 4½-½ victory over De la Beche B. BF Bluebell travelled to Upper Killay on the Wednesday hoping to maintain their 100% record but it was not to be. A close match but UK Merlins just took the points 3-2. Although languishing in 6th spot Bluebell have two matches in hand and with a healthy game point score remain in a strong position to challenge the leaders. Hawks playing their second match of the week suffered a 0-5 whitewash while at home to CN Tribunes. The final match of the week saw UK Harriers manage a respectable 2-3 victory away to BF Giants. White Knights E, much to everyone's surprise stay top, two points clear. However, only 4 points separate the top six teams.
