A 5-0 win by Morriston A over CN Emperors takes them to the top of Division 1 ahead of White Knights A who have a match in hand. The Knights play the Emperors this week but they will need to win by the same score if they want to leapfrog Morriston. At the other end of the table Port Talbot move off the bottom with a 2-3 win away to BF Brunel while slow starters Nidum have hauled themselves into fourth place with a 1-4 away win against White Knights C.

In Division 2 UK Merlins visited the Morriston club to play the D team and came away 3-2 winners courtesy of their top 3 boards. This win takes Merlins, who have matches in hand, to within striking distance of the two leading teams. The following day CN Tribunes at home to Woodman B made short work of the opposition to emerge 4½ - ½ winners while two days later BF Giants travelled to Llanelli to take on White Knights E in a re-arranged match and in spite of being a player short managed a 2-3 win. In the final match of the week leaders Woodman A took on second place Morriston C. The 3½ - ½ win for Morriston takes them to within 1 point of the leaders with 3 matches in hand.
