With only one week of the League competition left to go teams are now completing their fixtures. In Division 1 top teams White Knights A and Nidum A finished with a flourish. White Knights defeated Morriston A 3-2 while Nidum had a 4-1 win over Port Talbot.

However, in Division 2 third placed Emperors lost 0.5-4.5 at home to fourth placed White Knights D while second placed Morriston B, playing their last match of the season, went down 2-3 away to fifth placed Woodman A.

In Division 3 runaway winners Morriston C, who had only lost one match this season, travelled to Llanelli two players short and duly lost to White Knights E 3-2. Morriston C play third placed Ferrymen on Monday in a match that Ferrymen need to win for them to stand any chance of coming second. The other Division 3 match saw Eagles defeat Tribunes 3-2 with the score counting double to compensate for an abandoned match that should have been played last November. An unconventional way of avoiding defaults!

There was some semblance of action in the Under 1500 section of the KO cup competition. In the semi-final between BF Ferrymen and UK Hawks the away team arrived a player down but held Ferrymen to a 2-2 draw. After bottom board elimination, however, Hawks emerged as the victors and go through to the final. The quarter-final between White Knights and Woodman was abandoned in favour of White Knights when Woodman decided they would not be able to put a team together in the time remaining. White Knights now play UK Eagles for a place in the final.
