The 49th West Wales Weekend Congress starts on Friday 25th November. Entry forms are available here

Note, however, that a printing error has been found on the entry form.

Under CONGRESS RULES the second paragraph should read as follows. The wording below will be used during the congress and NOT the wording on the entry form:

AFTERNOON ROUNDS

The draw for afternoon rounds will be made as soon as possible following the completion of the morning rounds. In extreme circumstances, if a game is not completed within 4 hours 30 minutes of the start time, it will normally be adjudged a draw in order to allow pairings for the afternoon round. However, the arbiters reserve the right to use their judgement to pair players involved in unfinished games by assuming a win and a loss, should the situation at the time warrant such a decision.

Any player may request a 30 minute break before the start of their afternoon game. This request must be made immediately on conclusion of the morning game at the latest.
