Nidum defaulted on board 1 after Rob Saunders was unable to get away from a meeting in time to play. Alan Bennett seemed to have the better of the draw on bd3. Bds 4 & 5 were pretty even, on bd 5 Bob & Nick went down to king & knight v king. Gerry seemed to be coasting against Craig but he lost his passed pawn on b7 and the game ended in a draw with both sides having 2 minor pieces left and Gerry having only 1 pawn.
