Division 1 saw a weaker than normal Nidum travel to Llanelli to face White Knights B. A win for White Knights would have seen them jump back into third place but it was not to be. Two wins and two draws gave Nidum the victory and ensures that they stay in touch with the leading pair. The following evening White Knights A were at home to BF Brunel and although some games were described as "tight" the Knights nevertheless overwhelmed Brunel and the 5-0 victory resulted in them leapfrogging Morriston A. They now sit at the top of the table by virtue of 1½ game points and tomorrow night's match at the Coopers Arms between these two teams may well prove crucial to both team's title hopes.

It was a busy week in Division 2 and it started with White Knights D visiting Woodman B in their new De La Beche venue and coming away with a 4-1 victory. On the same night UK Harriers played Morriston D where 2½ points on the bottom boards ensured the Harriers of a draw and kept them above Morriston D in the table. Two days later the other two Upper Killay teams were in action with bottom of the table Hawks playing their club's first team Merlins. A 4-1 win for Merlins keeps them breathing down the necks of Morriston C and Woodman A. The Merlins v Woodman A match on Wednesday will be watched with interest as a win for Merlins will take them into second place. The final game of the week was between BF Giants and Morriston C. It was a close run affair that could have gone either way but in the end Morriston scraped through with a 3-2 win and continue to sit precariously at the top of the table.
